REPLACE COOLANT HEATER EXHAUST ELBOW AND PIPES — Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Place clamp (1) on elbow (4). Install elbow on coolant heater. Tighten clamp.
2.
Place clamp (1) on lower pipe (3). Install pipe in elbow (4). Tighten clamp.
3.
Place clamp (1) on upper pipe (2). Install upper pipe in lower pipe (3). Tighten clamp.
4.
Align new gasket (7) and upper pipe (2) with exhaust grill housing. Secure with four washers (6) and screws (5).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install air cleaner (WP 0168 00).
2.
Start coolant heater. See TM 9-2350-277-10. Check for leaks. Turn heater off.
3.
Close power plant access door. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
4.
Start engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
5.
Raise and lock ramp. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
6.
Stop engine. See TM 9-2350-277-10.
