REPLACE SERRATED LOCK RING SCREW INSERT AND PACKING — Continued

Coat male threads of insert (2) with sealing compound.

Wrench new insert (2) into threaded hole (3) by hand using wrench (4) until preformed packing (1) touches bottom of
counterbore (5) and bottom of insert flange (6). Then wrench insert l/4 to 3/8 of a turn further to compress preformed
packing (1).
