The M795 projectile will not be fired at charge 3 (white bag (WB)).

Firing below these charges may result in stickers.

NOTE

•

The M795 is similar to the M483A1 externally, except that it is

two inches shorter.

•

The M795 consists of 23.8 pounds of TNT explosive loaded

into a 78.1 pound body assembly. A welded rotating band

encircles the high fragmentation steel HF-1 body near its

base.

•

Refer to the description of the MK399 MOD 1 fuze in paragraph

5-2.2a for expected performance against MOUT targets.
