a. Removal

1 Disconnect hose assembly (1) at clamp (2). Move hose assembly out of way.

2 Remove 12 screws (3), 12 Iockwashers (4), engine compartment access cover (5), and seal (6). Discard

Iockwashers and seal.

b. Installation

WARNING

When installing engine compartment access cover, ensure that all screws are

secured. Carbon monoxide poisoning could result in serious injury or death if cover

is loose.

Adhesives are toxic and flammable. Apply adhesives only in a well-ventilated area.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and clothes, and don’t breath vapors. Do not use

near heat, sparks, or open flame. Read and follow all warnings and instructions on

labels of adhesives. If contact with skin or eyes is made, wash area with water and

seek medical aid immediately.

Apply adhesive to seal (6). Install seal (6), engine compartment access cover (5), 12 new Iockwashers (4), and

12 screws (3).

2 Connect hose assembly (1) and tighten clamp (2).
