EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS
a.
Column (1) – Item Number. This number is assigned to the entry in the listing for cross-referencing to the part number.
b.
Column (2) – Part Number. Indicates the primary number used by the manufacturer (individual, company, firm, corpo-
ration, or Government activity), which controls the design and characteristics of the item by means of its engineering
drawings, specification, standards, and inspection requirements to identify an item or range of items.
c.
Column (3) – Description. This column contains the nomenclature which appears on the first page of the task under the
subheading “Materials/Parts”.
