Maintenance Text and Illustrations (Chapters 3 through 14)
1. Maintenance procedures are to be performed in the sequence shown in the text and illustrations. Step 1 must be per-
formed before Step 2. Procedure A must be performed before Procedure B, and so on.
2. Equipment illustrations use numbers to identify parts of the system/components.
Example: Remove two cap screws (7) and two lockwashers (8).
3. This manual is written to include all parts authorized to be used or repaired at the direct and general support level using
Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL) (TM 9-2350-311-24P-2) as a guide. All parts with SMR code mainte-
nance levels "F" and "H" are mentioned in the order of functional group codes whenever possible, to enable location in
the RPSTL.
