Install Clutch Housing Asembly Components

Install sixteen springs (9) into spring holes in Piston

(10).

Install retaining plate (7) over springs (9).

by retaining ring (8) in place on retaining Plate (7).

Using wrench and bar and stud assembly J 24204-2 and

clutch spring compressor J 23616, compress retaining

plate (7) against spring force to access groove for

retaining ring (8).

Using retaining ring pliers, install retaining ring (8).

Remove bar and stud assembly and clutch spring

compressor.
