a. Removal

Remove high tension lead (28) from
electrode (29) on air heater assembly
(30).
Disconnect hose (1) from adapter (31)
on air heater assembly (30). Remove
hose.
Disconnect hose (32) from connector
(33) on air heater assembly (30).
Remove two bolts (34), two
Iockwashers (35), air heater assembly
(30), and gasket (36) from block.
Discard gasket and Iockwashers.
Discard Iockwasher.

Unscrew electrode (29) from air
heater body (37).
Remove fuel injector nozzle (38) from
air heater body (37).
Remove adapter (31) from connector
(33).
Remove two connectors (33) from air
heater body (37).
