3. Check to be sure cylinder (33) nozzle seat is free from excessive carbon deposits and that the

seat face is free from surface roughness.

4. Remove carbon deposits and/or surface roughness using nozzle carbon cutter (34) (item 33,

WP 0175).

5. Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound (item 5, WP 0172) to threads of fuel injection

nozzle assembly (3) and install in cylinder.
