A±r Hose T±e-up
Dear Editor,
Air hoses on M149-series water
tRile± are sliced in half during
towing opeRtionS. The hoses get
caught between the truck's back
bumper and the tRiler's frame
when drive± tu² too sho³ While
backing, causing the trailer to
jackknife´
µe¶·¸ve come up with a fix that
p¹vents the damage:
•
Lay the air hoses to the inside
of the safety chºin eyebolts.
•
Tie the hoses in place with
nylon ties, N»N 5975¼00½156¼3253.
Th¹ad the ties th¾ugh the ¿yeÀ
bolts and puÁ th¿m snug a¾und
the hoses. That saves the price of
a new air hose, and saves downÂ
time, too!
