ecause the M21 must shoot accurately over very Long distances, It has Dose
to±erances and criticaL alIgnment. Most maintenance has to be done by speciaLly
traiNed repairmen² But there are some very i³portant things you can ´o to heLp
your M21 see and shoot straight.
CLean Itµ After eVery F¶rIng, run a chamber brush dippe´ In C·P or R¸C
through the ejection po¹tµ
Push the cLeaning rod aLL
the way to the chamber
before yoU aTach the ²od ti³
One probLem wIth pushIng a cLean¶ng rod tHroUgh the ºuzzle is that It's easy
to Nick or bur¹ the crown o» the barrel. That ruins accuracy.
To prevent that, carefuLLy Inse¹t the cLeanIng rod through the mUzzle aLL the
way to the chamber. Attach the cLeaning rod tip through the chamber. PuLl the
cLeaning rod straight back and out.
¼ry tHe bore aN´ chamber with a cLean patch² ·ightly LUbrIcate the bore with
a patch dipped in C·P, ·SA, or ·AW. Be½re »iring, dry the chamber and bore
aga¶n.

lens tIssue, and alcohol. AnythIng aÁÂasIVeÃlIKe cloth or polIshIng lIqUIdsÄ
