The water hose that runs be-
tween the water pump Inlet and
the system pressure regulator
valve leaks on our M17 decons.
UsuaLly, this is because the
hose f±²ing at the pump has
been tightened too much. This
cracks the brass Fitt³ng. Water
pressure can't be controLLed and
the ´1µ's out oF commission.
Our simple Field

verse the hose. Put the good Fit·
ting on the pump Inlet¸ CareFul¹
don't overºtighten the connec»
tion¼ Connect the other end to
the regulator valve½
¾t has a di¿erent kind oF FiÀting that wlll press together the hose
Fitting and seal the crack. TeFlon pipe tape or cement can also help
seal it.
This keeps us in business until support can get a new hose.
