Tighten Loose Belts
Dear EditoR
Most M17 decons get used and then sit for
several weeks. Without use, the fuel and wa-
ter pump belts stretch and d± rot. Then
when you are ready to operate again, the
belts are shot²
We shot down shot belts by taking oF the
three belts when we know we won't be run-
ning the M³´ for a while. You can just rotate
the belts on and oF the belt pulleys.
