When the job calls for letting air

out of a Chinook tire, most

deFation methods can huRt the

tire stem or core.

Too many times a slipped

screwd±Iver has done more harm

than good²

So we made this simple

deFation tool. All you need ³s a

stem cap´ NSN

165²³²²´222³4525,

and a standard

µ³32

screw.

HaVe your machine shop d±µL

and tap a hole in the top of the

cap to f¶t the screw.

Cut the screw so that ³t only

goes about half-way into the cap.

Dr/· a ¸¹16º»n hole ¼n the ½ide of

the cap. ¾his w¿À let the air

escape.

Here's your Ánished product.

Now when you want to deFate a

tireÂ just screw on the cap.
