Crewman must swab the bore after
each round Fred to clear chamber of
hot embers. ±ailure to swab the bore
after each round Fred may cause
explosion or Fre outside the breech
area and cause injury or death to
personnel and damage equipment.

Change Step 30 to: Cannoneer
No. 2 swabs powder chamber,
spindle assembly, and gas check
seat using chamber swab (30)
after each round fired.
2.±
Change Step 31 to: Driver
inspects cannon tube (31) and
will announce BORE CLEAR after
the last round of the mission.
3.±
Delete Step 32.
4.±
Renumber Step 33 as Step 32.

background.
