me is how long some of
you hang on to certain
articles. We’re talking
years here, too.
Now and then, I get
letters referencing

articles that
streTch into the
Distant Past.
The Army is changing
faster
than ever. Our
older articles were valid at the time they
ran, but procedures and publications change,
and sometimes the changes are
major.
So if you’re
hanging onto
old
PS
articles
for nostalgia’s
sake, or simply
to admire my
handsome mug,
no problem.
But if you’re
referencing them
for
technical
instructions,
be careful!
if there’s any chance something might have changed,
the
safest
bet is to check your TM or ask me. You can
