echanics, tire tightening isn’t a one-way-fts-all deal. You’ll need to put on and
tighten the lug nuts For your ±MTV’s tires to the leFt or right, depending on which
side oF the truck you’re on.
Driver side wheel lug nuts get tightened to the leFt and passenger side wheel lug
nuts get tightened to the right.

remember, there is
an
“L”
in the middle
of the left side lug
threads, and an
“R”
in the middle of the
right side’s.
Turn
left
(or counter-
clockwise)
to tighten
whenever you
see the
“L”…
…and turn
right
(or
clockwise)
when the
“R”
is seen.
I keep turning
and turning to
the
right.
..
…so why
won’t you
tighten!?
you’re on the
wrong side
for
turning
right.
..
…if you’re on
the
driver’s side,
you gotta tighten
to the
left!
