echanics, when operating the generic aircraft nitrogen generator (GANG), NSN
3655-01-568-2711 or 3655-01-589-1954, make sure you have TM 1-3655-245-13&P
open in front of you before doing anything.
Don’t
overlook the TM procedures!
You need to realize that the sound of leaking air is normal because the Fow control
valve (±CV2) is factory-set to maintain 97-98 percent nitrogen purity.

close
the ±CV2 completely.
