INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS (CONT'D)

9. Install a 3/8" plastic tube between the bottom porT of the

reservoir and the bottom port of the air dryer± ²he tube

should be jUst long enough to make the connection

(there should be no undue stress or kinks)³

If a new heavy duty canister is being installed, continUe

with ´nstallat´on instructions. µf not¶ stop here and go

to the operat·onal checks³

Inspect¸on of the existing

canister and coalescing filter ´s recommended ¸f they

are to remain installed¹

10º Loosen desiccant canister with a strap wrench at the

base of the canister and sp´n ofF by hand. (O»C #7206

Snap-On #A91 C or equivalent.)

11º Remove the coalesc¸ng filter and inspect for damage¶

deterioration and/or excessive contamination. Replace

filter if necessary³ (¼se Coalescing ½ilter Kit ¾¿6021³À

Á2. Âf the coalescÃng fiÄter is replaced, instalÄ the new filter in

accordance with the instructions furnished with the kitº

Lubricate alÄ ÅOÆ-Rings and seals with siÄicone grease

prior to assembly³

13± Remove the existing ÇÈÉÊ-Ring from the canister mounting

nipple and apply the new one provided in the Heavy Duty

Kit.

14± Apply anti-seize compound to the threads of the adapter

n´pple.

15³ Install the new heavy duty desiccant canister and tighten

by hand. Canister should turn 1 /4 to 3/4 turn past first

gasket contact±
