BOOM WINCH AND TOW WINCH DRUM AND CABLE
Perform the following semiannually if winch or cable has not been used.

Unwind and clean entire cable.
Brush-soak cable and drum with oil (OE/HDO, OEA, or CLP).
Wipe off excess oil and coat cable and drum with lubricating
oil, CW-II.

Remove pins.

WARNING
Dry cleaning solvent (SD2) is toxic and flammable.
Wear protective goggles and gloves and use only in
well-ventilated area.
Clean pins with SD2.
Lubricate with GAA and install.
Wipe off excess grease.
