1.
PURPOSE
.
The purpose of this modification is to provide procedures to install two new stowage brackets, one for
the modified ANNVS-2(V)4 Night Viewer Device (NVD) and one for the M45 periscope.
This modification will provide
stowage space for the modified NVD and M45 periscope, when one of the items are not mounted; and procedures to
modify three M45 periscopes and vehicle periscope supports, which will prevent water from leaking into the driver's
compartment.
