Removal:

Open periscope box (1).
(b)
Remove four screws (2), four flat washers (3), four lockwashers (4), and periscope box (1).
Set
aside periscope box, flat washers, and lockwashers for disposition per para 8f.
FORWARD

Installation:
(a)
Drill four holes in the existing plate located on the sponson using drill (PIN W-D-661, NSN 5130--
0807-3009), drill bit 0.125 (1/8) Inch for pilot holes, and drill bit 0.438 (7116) inch for final through
holes.
