4-5. Armored Air Cleaner Mounting Bolt Replacement

General.
Recent field reports indicate the 3/8 inch mounting bolts for the armored air cleaner
are shearing off, causing unscheduled maintenance and vehicle deadlining. To correct
this problem, a 5/8 inch mounting bolt is being released for installation in the field.
This procedure is applicable to both the left and right
provides instructions to the field to accomplish removal of
and installation of 5/8 inch mounting bolts.
