3. Remove hose (9) from fitting (10).

4. Remove hose (11) from fitting (12).

5. Remove four screws (13), counterbalance valve block (6), and preformed packing (14) from winch motor (15).

Discard preformed packing.

6. Remove counterbalance valve (16) from counterbalance valve block (6).
