GOVERNOR FUEL PRESSURE TESTING AND ADJUSTING
34. Test stand (1)
Fuel pump (7)
Test and adjust fuel pump governor, operat-
ing pressure as follows:
a.
Adjust fuel pump speed to 1500 rpm.
b.
Place selector valve (4) to ROTAMETER
position.
c.
Place fuel throttle lever (3) to wide open
position.
d.
Set fuel flow to 230 pph with the fuel flow
control valve (5).
Fuel pressure should be 100 to 106 psi
(989 to 730 kPa).
e.
If fuel pressure is not 100 to 106 psi (689
to 730 kPa), check governor cutoff rpm
(see step 28).
