• Auxiliary transmission removed (see paragraph 6-1).

• Grease (Item 10, Appendix B)

• Lubricating oil (Item 13, Appendix B)

Tools/Test Equipment:

• Sealant compound (Item 19, Appendix B)

• General mechanic's tool kit

• Dry cleaning solvent (Item 23, Appendix B)

• Field automotive shop set

• Three parts kits

• Forty lockwashers

General Safety Instructions:

• Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and must not be used near open flame, Use only in a well-ventilated area.

* Perform steps 1 through 9 to disassemble top cover housing.

* Auxiliary transmission Is In neutral when shaft and shift bar protrude evenly from case

transmission (2) into neutral.
