Remove seal (30) from bearing retainer (27).

Discard seal.

13.

Remove breather (31) from retainer (29).

14.

Mark position of retainer (29) on case (8) for

assembly.

15.

Remove six bolts (35) and lockwashers (34).

Discard lockwashers.

16.

Using puller, remove retainer (29) from drive

gearshaft (33).

Remove gasket (32).

Discard

gasket.

17.

Using puller, remove bearing (36) from front of

retainer (29).

Discard bearing.
