INSTALLATION
1.
Apply thin coat of grease to surface of new gasket
(5).
2.
Position gasket (5) on adapter housing (6).
3.
Install lifting bracket to output shaft (2).
4.
Attach lifting device to lifting bracket.
5.
Lift output housing (7) and position on adapter
housing (6).
6.
Install 24 new lockwashers (4), 21 screws (1), and
three screws (3).
Torque screws to 67-80 lb.-ft.

108 N•m).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
•
Install third clutch (see paragraph 6-18).
