CROSS-SHAFT ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION

1.

Apply grease to center hole of ring gear set (51)

and bearing (54) and install along with recessed

washer (53) into differential carrier (2).

2.

Use two cross-shaft removal spacers (52) to

hold ring gear set (51) away from differential carrier (2)

wall.

3.

Apply grease to entering shaft of cross-shaft

(50).

4.

Press cross-shaft (50) and key (55) into ring

gear set (51).

5.

Remove two cross-shaft removal spacers (52)

from differential carrier (2).
