5. MIX SEEMS TOO WET OR TOO DRY

Step 1.

Check to be sure all ingredients controls are at the setting you have been given.

If they are not, reset them (para 2-2).

Step 2.

Reset water control (para 2-11 c).

a. Loosen wingnut.

b. Move pointer to a setting lower than the one you want.

c. Move the pointer back up to the correct setting.

d. Tighten the wingnut.

Step 3.

Open the washout hose valve Check to see if you can spray water about 32-38 ft (9 76-11 59 m).

Adjust water pressure (para 2-10 e).

Step 4.

Check to be sure all eight draincocks and the vent are closed.

Close loose draincocks and vents (fig. 2-14).

Step 5.

Check that the caps on both air fittings are tightly screwed on.

Tighten loose caps (fig. 3-21).
