3-19. Mix Auger Test.

NOTE

Up and down movement of hydraulic motor is usually caused by a bent auger shaft. The operator

can visually check for a bent shaft by following these steps:

a. Operate the mixer auger (empty) at a low RPM.

b. Closely watch the hydraulic motor (fig. 3-31).

c. If the movement of the motor, up and down or side to side exceeds one-eighth inch, notify Organizational

Maintenance.
