LOCKING CYLINDER REPLACEMENT (Sheet 3 of 3)

Using 7/8 inch wrench, install hose assembly
(G) to elbows (D, F).

Position locking cylinder (H)
tongue (J) with all hydraulic
forward.

Using 7/8 inch wrench, tighten nuts of hose
assemblies (K, L).
Service hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-
12).
Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as
necessary.
Service hydraulic reservoir (LO 5-5420-202-
12).
Extend locking cylinder (TM 55420-202-10).
Manually install plugs (P) on piston rod (Q).
Using pry bar through holes (R) in plugs (P)
and 1-1/2 inch wrench on flats of piston rods
(Q), tighten two plugs (P).

Manually install two hose assemblies (K, L)
as follows: hose assembly (L) marked “CE1”
to elbow (M) and hose assembly (K) marked
“CE2” to elbow (N).
