Put lever (1) onto stem (2).
Line up holes for cotter pin (3).
2.
Put cotter pin (3) through holes in lever (1) and stem (2). Using pliers,
bend open ends of cotter pin.
NOTE
Follow-on Maintenance Action Required:
Refer to discharge valve replacement, para 18-53, for
replacement of bottom cover plate under tank section
of chassis.
