NOTE

Readings must be within limits given in table 17-7.

If readings are not within given limits, throw away

part and get a new one.

1.

Check that gear (1) has no burrs. Take off burrs with a fine mill file or

honing stone.

2.

Measure thickness of six feed and drive clutch disks with linings (2).

3.

Check that all other parts have no wear or damage. If parts are worn or

damaged, get new ones in their place.
