Put a five-gallon container under two drain plugs (1).
Take out two drain plugs (1) from gearcase (2) and end frame (3). Drain oil.
Take out four capscrews and washers (4).
Lift channel (5) off gearcase (2) and end frame (3).
Take out four capscrews and washers (6). Take off channel (7).
Take off nut (8) from tie rod (9).
Using hoist, support cable and drum assembly (10).
Lift off end frame (3).
Leave
hoist on drum.
Take off tie rod (9).
