11. Inspect for looseness by tapping around surface of valve seat insert (6). Replace valve seat insert (6)
if bouncing occurs when tapped (para. 3-78).
12. Measure width (7) on valve seat insert (6). Mark valve seat inserts (6) for replacement if width (7)
exceeds 0.125 in. (3.18 mm) at any one point and cannot be narrowed during regrinding (para. 3-80).
