GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Keep fire extinguisher nearby when using dry
cleaning solvent.
l
Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and toxic. Do
not use near open flame.
l
Diesel fuel is flammable. Do not perform this
procedure near flames.
WARNlNG
Diesel fuel is highly flammable. Do not perform fuel system
procedures near open flames. Injury to personnel may result.

NOTE
Have drainage container ready to catch fuel.

Remove fuel filter (3) from fuel filter head (1). Discard fuel filter (3).
NOTE
Perform step 2 if adapter threads are stripped.

Remove adapter (2) from fuel filter head (1). Discard adapter (2).
