EQUIPMENT CONDITION

Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).

NOTE

M927/A1/A2 and M928/A1/A2 model trucks have six hinges per

troop seat. The M923/A1/A2 and M925/A1/A2 have five hinges per

troop seat as shown in this procedure.

1.

Remove five cotter pins (4) and hinge pins (2) from hinges (5) and (6). Discard cotter pins (4).

2.

Remove cotter pin (11), washer (10), and stabilizer bar (9) from side rack (1) and cargo bed (8).

Discard cotter pin (11).

3.

Remove two seat latches (3), release, and lower troop seat (7) from side rack (1).

1.

Align hinges (6) of troop seat (7) with hinges (5) on side rack (1) and install with five hinge pins (2)

and new cotter pins (4).

2.

Install stabilizer bar (9) on side rack (1) and cargo bed (8) with washer (10) and new cotter pin (11).

3.

Raise troop seat (7) to stow position on side rack (1) and install with two seat latches (3).
