EQUIPMENT CONDITION
• Parking brake set (TM 9-2320-272-10).
• Hood raised and secured (TM 9-2320-272-10).
• Battery ground cables disconnected (para. 3-126).
• Driver’s seat removed (para. 3-283).
a. Chemical Alarm Wiring Harness Removal
NOTE
The cable is provided in two sections. A short wire harness with a
screw-on receptacle completes the circuit for the detector and
alarm units to the main power source. This harness is only
supplied when both chemical detector and alarm units are issued
to the field.
1.
Remove nut (4) and receptacle (1) from detector bracket (3).
2.
Remove screw (6), clamp (7), and cable (2) from locations A, B, C, D, E, and F along
left
side fender (5)
and underside of vehicle.
3.
Remove six clamps (7) from cable (2).
