b. Installation

1.

Install new valve spring (5), new lubrication valve (4), and new spring guide (3) in bore (6) of

transmission (7). Ensure raised side of lubrication valve (4) faces outward.

2.

Install new gasket (2) and lubrication valve housing (1) on transmission (7) with two screws (13).

Tighten screws (13) 9-11 lb-ft (12-15 N

m).

3.

Place new O-ring (12) on elbow (10) and install elbow (10) on lubrication valve housing (1). Tighten

elbow (10) until aligned and jamnut (14) seats, then tighten jamnut (14) until O-ring (12) seats.

4.

Connect transmission oil filter-to-transmission supply hose (11) on elbow (10).

NOTE

Perform step 5 for vehicles equipped with transmission PTO.

Perform step 6 for vehicles equipped with front winch.

l

Wrap all male threads with antiseize tape before installation,

Install adapter (9) and transmission-to-PTO supply hose (8) on elbow (10).

Install hoses (17) and (19) on hanger bracket (18) with two clamps (16), screw (20), and new

locknut (15).
