Check cylinder liner (1) for fretting and breaks in machined areas. Replace cylinder liner (1) if
fretted or broken.

Check cylinder liner (1) for rust, scaling, and corrosion.
a. Clean with steam or hot water and detergent.
b. Replace if excessively rusted, scaled, or corroded.
