B. INSTALLATION.
Remove.
Remove hex nut (5) and lock-
washer (6) and remove idler
pulley from water pump (8).
Loosen and remove.
Loosen and remove.
Loosen and remove.
Unscrew and remove.
Unscrew and remove.
a. Remove from engine
bypass tube (11 ).
b. Throw away gaskets.

Water pump (8) and new
gaskets.
Four capscrews and
washers, (10).
Capscrew (14). Iockwasher
(13), and clamp (12).
Two capscrews and washer_,
four capscrews and washers (3).
Two capscrews (1) and
washers (2).
Idler pulley (7).
Put in position on bypass
tube (11) and engine.
Install and tighten to 35
Ib-ft (47 N-m).
Install and tighten securely,
Install and tighten to 35
Ib-ft (47 N-m).
Install and tighten securely.
Install in water pump (8)
and secure with hex nut
(5) and Iockwasher (6).
Do not tighten.
