PTO LEAKS OIL.
Step 1.
Inspect for cracked housing.
Replace defective housing. If housing is in good condition, go to step 2.
Step 2.
Inspect for worn or damaged output shaft oil seal or gaskets.
a.
Remove hydraulic pump (para 21-2), bearing cap, and oil seal. Replace with
new seal.
b.
Remove shift linkage, shifter cover, and gaskets. Replace with new gaskets.
