Rear Hookup.

NOTE

This is a two-soldier task.

(1)

Prepare retrieval system for operation (para 2-72).

WARNING

Hold crosstube when removing springs. Crosstube may

swing or cause adapter

injury.

(2)

Disconnect two springs (1)

to slide resulting in personal

from tow cylinders (2).

NOTE

Right and left towing shackles are removed the same

way.

(3)

Remove two cotter pins (3), pins (4), and towing shackles (5).
