Install gasket (14) on core (15). Install core in oil cooler housing (16).

Install gasket (17).

Install oil filter adapter (para 3-5).

Install oil cooler inlet elbow and flange elbow (para 3-6).

Fill cooling system with coolant (para 6-2).

Start engine and check for leaks (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Shut off engine (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Install engine side panel (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Close engine cover (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Check engine oil (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Install oil cooler housing (16), hose clamp (18), 12 screws (19), and lockwashers (20). Tighten

screws to 10 to 15 lb-ft (13 to 20 N·m).
