Coat gasket (4) with silicone adhesive-sealant and install on thermostat housing (5).

Install thermostat housing (5) and gasket (4) with three Iockwashers (6) and screws (7, 8, and (9).

Tighten screw (l).

Coat threads of plug (10), adapter (11), and elbow (12) with pipe thread sealing compound and

install in thermostat housing (5).

Install hose (13) on elbow (12). Tighten clamp (14).

easily, can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to

skin

and clothing. To avoid i~ury or death, keep away

from open fire and use in well-ventilated area. If

adhesive, solvent, or sealing compound gets on skin or

clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

Coat threads of pipe plug (15) with pipe thread

sealing compound; and install in thermostat housing

cover (16).

Using installer and handle, install seal (17) with lip

toward inside of thermostat housing cover (16).

Install thermostat (18), pressing down until it seats in

thermostat housing cover (16).

Coat gasket (19) with silicone adhesive-sealant, and

install gasket on thermostat housing cover (16).
