NEUTRAL INTERLOCK SWITCH SENDER UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

a.

Removal.

(1)

Disconnect wires (1) at connector (2).

(2)

Remove sender unit (3) from transmission housing (4).

b. Installation.

(1)

Install sender unit (3) in transmission housing (4). Tighten sender unit to 50 to 60 lb-ft

(2)

(68 to 81 N•m) using special socket.

Connect wires (1) at connector (2).

Follow-on Maintenance.

Install front cargo body panel (TM 9-2320-279-10).

Install left front splash guard (para 16-13).
