7-94. STARTER RELAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT).

a. Removal.

NOTE

Tag and mark wires before

disconnecting.

Disconnect wires (1) from

starter relay (2) terminals.

(2)

Remove two screws (3),

lockwashers (4), and

nuts (5).

Remove starter relay (2).

b. Installation.

Place starter relay (2) on

engine front support.

Install two screws (3),

lockwashers (4), and

nuts (5).

Connect wires (1) to starter

relay (2) terminals.

c. Follow-on Maintenance.

Connect batteries

(para 7-91).

Install engine side panel

(TM 9-2320-279-10).

Close engine cover

(TM 9-2320-279-10).

Start engine to check

operation of relay

(TM 9-2320-279-10).

END OF TASK

Shut off engine (TM 9-2320-279-10).
