If needed, adjust length of outer link rod (43) as follows:

(a)

Loosen jamnut (45).

(b)

Remove outer link rod (43) from door lock connecting lever (44).

(c)

Turn outer link rod (43) clockwise to shorten, counterclockwise to lengthen.

(d)

Install outer link rod (43) through door lock connecting lever (44).

(e)

Tighten jamnut (45).

Install cable end fitting (24) on end of outer link rod (43).

Install spring (46) on end of outer link rod (43).
