Install preformed packing (17) on motor end drum hub (8).

Aline motor end drum hub (8) with pins (18) and install with

Iockwashers (20).

Tighten screws (19) to 90 to 95 lb-ft (122 to 129 N·m) in sequence shown.

Install two plugs (21).

Install two preformed

packings (22).

Support drum (15) with suitable

lifting device and install gear end

support (23) and motor end

support (24).

Install poppet valve (25).

Remove lifting device.
